ABOUT THE BETTERMENT PROJECT

We firmly believe in the power of education to create lasting change. The Betterment Project focuses on engaging boys and young men aged 17 and older, providing the necessary tools, knowledge, guidance and support they need to shape a better future.

WHAT WE’RE TEACHING

  • Acting and speaking with respect
  • Understanding consent and healthy relationships
  • Speaking up in the face of poor behaviour
  • Holding yourself and your mates accountable
  • Becoming a better version of yourself

THE JOURNEY

Through the support of our amazing sponsors, we’re spreading Betterment throughout schools and communities, educating boys in years 11 and 12 with:

  • Interactive workshops
  • Open discussions
  • Educational resources

THE DESTINATION

Our goal is to build a better future where men:

  • Act with respect, regardless of gender
  • Make positive choices
  • Know that it’s okay to ask for help
  • Listen and understand one another
  • Feel responsible for their actions and the actions of their mates

By fostering personal growth and a sense of responsibility, our aim is to create a generation of boys who become advocates for change, champions of respect, and allies for women’s empowerment.
